The FIC center is a one-stop system of services that provides job readiness/life
skills training and support services to assist ACHA families in reaching and
maintaining self-sufficiency.
Description of Services...
Case management, assessment, addiction services, information & referral, job
readiness and placement, computer learning skills and follow-up on all client
services.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program...
Description of Program...
The Family Self-sufficiency (FSS) is a voluntary program for
participates in section 8 and public housing programs. Its purpose is to assist
families receiving HUD Section 8 rental assistance or living in public housing
to improve their economic situation and reduce their dependence on public
assistance and welfare.
Description of Services...
Case management, job placement, child care, anger management,
escrow account, budget management, specified career training, substance abuse
treatment and related services.
