ATLANTIC CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY

FY 2025 ANNUAL PLAN

The Atlantic City Housing Authority invites you to attend a public hearing on its Annual Agency Plan for 2025. The hearing will be held from 10:00 A. M to 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Jeffries Tower, 227 Vermont North, Atlantic City, 17th floor.

The Agency Plan identifies the needs of lower income households that are served by the Housing Authority’s public housing and Section 8 rental assistance programs. The Agency Plan sets forth a strategy to address identified needs and identifies various operational and management measures that will be used to implement the Plan. The purpose of the plan is for the Housing Authority to demonstrate how it will conduct its’ operations in a manner that is consistent with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998.

Draft copies of the Housing Authority’s Agency Plan will be available for public inspection beginning Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Housing Authority’s administrative offices at Jeffries Tower, 227 Vermont North, the Public Library and on the PHA website (www.atlanticcityha.org). The Housing Authority will accept written comments on the Agency Plan which may be submitted to the Atlantic City Housing Authority at P.O. Box 1258 Atlantic City, NJ 08404 or Jeffries Tower until 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 20, 2024.

The Board of Directors of the Atlantic City Housing Authority will consider the Annual Agency Plan at a meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:30 PM and is expected to approve submission at that time. It is the intent of the Housing Authority to submit the Agency Plan to HUD immediately thereafter.
